In the above link, the website Twitch.tv discusses the year 2014 in terms of the growth of their website. I found certain aspects of this site to be of importance to my topic, as it discusses areas of the world, and what type of content they tend to consume eg. 83% of the Philippine population that watches streamers on the site, watch Dota2 streams in particular. This may not seem of importance, but as the streams are international, you could look at this as a way of knowing that a person that streams Dota2 content may want to stream during the prime viewing time of the Philippines and not their own local times. http://mashable.com/2014/03/27/twitch-streamers/
As for the article above, one of the most successful streamers on twitch, TrumpSC, is being discussed. It goes into some detail of how he became such a popular streamer. For the most part however, it discusses how these people that stream fulltime are able to do so, and what kinds of decisions that they had to make when taking the leap from casually streaming to doing so fulltime. I found this of importance to my assignment because it points out that not everyone is cut out for streaming/online entertainment.
