I brought this up in our previous lecture, so I figured that this would be a good choice to continue a discussion on.
Technology has come quite a long way since 1995, especially in the area of communication. We have moved from the times of a physical face-to-face interaction, to a different kind of "face-to-face" interaction over the internet through programs such as skype. Who knows what exactly the future will hold for us, but for now we can we can come up with all kinds of fantasies, some of which hold more water then others. One such example is the hologram. What was once a fantasy of ours that we would see only in the movies, has had some success recently. A London based company by the name of Musion has made progress in the field, and currently claims to be the leading company of holographic technology. One of their most recent feats was bring the late Tupac Shakur "back" for a surprise concert. They currently have more planned for this technology which includes corporate use, educational use, as well as for entertainment.
